A man on the left wears a white garment with a red edge and a gold chain, while the man in front holds a microphone. Before them are long lines of banana leaves holding food, with paper cups placed along the floor. Tripundra-style white markings are visible on some arms. Behind them hang yellow and blue decorative banners, and a sign on the wall is partly readable.2010-10-12November 12 20102010-11-12November 12 20102010-11-12A photograph of a long row of men seated cross-legged on a polished marble floor, eating a meal served on fresh green banana leaves. Most wear white dhotis and white shirts, and some have sacred ash or red marks on their foreheads. Each leaf holds rice, yellow curries and small side dishes, with steel glasses of water beside them. A man in a white dhoti stands at the far end serving food, and a yellow-draped structure is visible at the top right. The scene looks like a communal meal in an ashram dining hall.2012-05-20 +3 copies
