A photograph of a floral-decorated palanquin carried through shallow water in a temple tank during a theppotsavam procession. A man in orange robes sits on a gold throne under an orange-and-white canopy, wearing a white flower garland and holding a trident-topped staff, his hands in a blessing gesture. Men in yellow shoulder cloths carry the palanquin, and devotees in white clothes stand waist-deep in the water around it. Behind them a tiered red-and-white stepped tank leads to a black Shiva lingam shrine structure. The seated man matches the a person candidate's presentation with orange robes and a garland, but the identification is uncertain.
