A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet seat and a gold canopy with hanging leaf ornaments. He wears an orange saffron shawl over his shoulders, a rudraksha mala necklace, and a red-and-white vertical mark on his forehead, with hands resting in his lap. A matching orange-draped figure is a presiding Swamiji (probable) on the peetha: the long hair, ornate saffron clothing and rudraksha mala are visible cues. Golden oil lamps with lit flames and orange and red flower arrangements flank the throne. In front, a golden base holds flower offerings and pink lotus blooms, with incense sticks and a silver plate of offerings. Around the platform, several women in white saris with yellow shawls and a shaven-headed man in white ritual dress sit facing the throne, seen from behind. A backdrop depicts a temple gopuram-style archway with deity imagery.2011-02-02October 20 20102010-10-20October 20 20102010-10-20 +1 copiesSeptember 28 20122012-09-28September 05 20122012-09-05October 15 20122012-10-15November 15 20102010-11-15A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet seat and a gold canopy, set before a painted backdrop of a stone temple gateway with carved pillars. The central figure wears a red robe and a multi-strand orange-gold garland, with a red tilak on the forehead and long dark hair; the appearance suggests a probable Swamiji (probable), seated in person as the presiding figure. Five people in white and cream ritual dhotis and saris sit on the floor around the throne, several holding small brass vessels and plates; one woman wears a yellow shawl and another a pink cloth. Tall brass lamps with lit flames stand on either side, and orange cloths lie on the floor in front of the dais, with plates and offerings nearby. A deity murti is depicted in the backdrop.2011-01-25October 20 20102010-10-20A seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing orange-saffron robes with a red-and-white trim, a long rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, with long swept-back hair, gestures calmly while speaking into a microphone on a small table with a bowl of red fruit. Around him, a group of devotees sit on the floor with palms pressed together in anjali mudra; women wear yellow and cream saris and men wear white. In front of them are brass plates with flowers, a lit oil lamp and small offerings. Probable Swamiji (in-person candidate: long hair, saffron robes, rudraksha mala, seated on a gilded throne). A man in orange also sits to the left, holding a microphone. Blue and maroon curtains frame the stage.2011-01-22October 27 20102010-10-27 +1 copiesJanuary 23 20112011-01-23
