A photograph of a Kailash Yatra gathering at a high-altitude roadside camp below a steep, layered reddish-brown rock face, with a snow-capped peak visible at upper left. Many pilgrims wear orange shawls and orange scarves, some in white or dark jackets and hats. Several are seated on the gravel ground in the foreground, while others stand near parked white and silver four-wheel-drive vehicles. A man in a blue jacket stands at left, and a woman in an orange robe stands near a bright yellow umbrella. Bundles of firewood are stacked near the vehicles, and a blue signboard stands at the back of the scene.

Many seated people wear orange shawls and wraps over blue, white and striped clothing. In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe and orange headwear stands with arms raised, addressing the group; the speaker's appearance is not clearly identifiable, so this is a teaching or address by a robed figure before the seated devotees. Parked white and grey vehicles, tents and a man in a dark jacket holding a white container stand near the valley floor, and a stream runs through the green meadow. Scene resembles a Kailash pilgrimage satsang on the trail.2011-08-06August 06 20112011-08-06 +1 copiesAugust 06 20112011-08-06August 06 20112011-08-06A large group of pilgrims sits on grass and rocky ground in a high mountain valley, facing a snow-capped peak under a partly cloudy blue sky.
