A photograph taken from inside a open-fronted hall looking out toward a courtyard with palm trees and stone sculptures. Two barefoot men in saffron-orange robes walk through the doorway: the nearer one on the left has long dark hair and holds a folded orange cloth, while the one on the right wears a long orange shawl and a garland of beads around his neck, and walks across a green mat. Behind them is a white shrine platform with a small deity murti decorated with a garland, a copper-coloured tall pillar with a kalasha-like top, and a black stone sculpture. Plants stand inside the hall on the left, and a red-and-white painted threshold runs along the courtyard edge.

Photograph taken from inside a dark doorway looking out onto an open courtyard at an ashram. A saffron-orange festoon of triangular flags hangs across a canopy, with colourful hanging tassels on poles and palm trees behind. In the courtyard, a few people in white and light clothing stand near a low pillared shrine and a row of grey stone statues. Two figures walk toward the viewer through the doorway: one in a full orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha-style mala and a sash, and a bald man in white ceremonial dress with a shawl and beads. The red and green floor mats lead the eye inward. Visible people are not clearly identifiable.

A photograph taken through the open doorway of a plain whitewashed building with a wall clock above. A standing figure in a long orange robe with long dark hair stands on a doormat at the threshold, looking to the side with hands at his sides. Beside him a woman in an orange sari moves through the doorway. On the left, a woman in a white sari with a yellow border and yellow shawl stands with palms pressed together in greeting. A palm tree, a silver SUV and a stone figure are visible outside under a bright sky, and potted plants flank the doorway.

Photograph of a temple courtyard with palm trees and a white-walled shrine area. In the centre, a long-haired man in a flowing saffron-orange robe with a red tilak walks forward smiling, with bare shoulder on one side. Behind him, a second man in orange robes follows, and to the right a bald man in orange robes and a gold-beaded necklace adjusts an orange cloth over his head with both hands. A man in white with a yellow shawl stands further back, and a person in white with folded hands stands at left by a potted plant. A green mat lies at the doorway and a copper-topped flagpole with garlands stands at right.

A photograph at an open-sided ashram pavilion with a corrugated roof and palm trees beyond. A central figure in an orange robe with a long braided plait walks barefoot across a threshold onto a green mat, his back partly turned toward the camera. Behind him a seated figure in white sits beside a red-and-white striped platform under a yellow-and-red umbrella. Two monks in orange robes with rudraksha malas stand at the right, one holding a folded cloth. On the left a woman in a white sari with a green-and-yellow border stands by the doorway, and a line of people in white clothes stand with hands folded in namaskar. About twenty people are visible in the scene.
