A three-storey terracotta-red building with white trim and a rooftop water tank stands behind a large mound of reddish-brown excavated soil. A blue tarpaulin is draped over part of the lower floor, and a tall tree stands at the right edge under a pale sky. A few small figures are visible at the base of the soil heaps near a low structure, appearing to be workers. The building has rows of windows and doors, and a few balconies with railings, with one laundry item hung from a balcony on the upper floor.
