A large crowd of devotees is packed densely inside a stone temple hall with carved granite pillars, seated and standing shoulder to shoulder. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis or white clothing with vertical white tilak or sacred ash marks on their foreheads, and many wear rudraksha or tulsi-type beaded malas. Several women wear saris in orange, red, teal and cream, some with bindis and gold jewellery. A few people press their palms together in anjali. Beyond the open archway, a temple gopuram and palm trees are visible. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person by appearance, so the attendee candidate remains uncertain.
