A crowded outdoor scene on a dusty street in Sindhanur, Karnataka, during flood relief distribution. Dozens of men and boys in white dhotis, shirts and vests press around a central man in a light blue short-sleeved shirt and dark trousers, who smiles and holds a boy by the shoulder. A man in a white shirt and black trousers in the foreground raises one arm toward the crowd. Behind them stand a pink-and-orange brick building, a blue kiosk, and piles of rubble and debris. Some people hold papers, and many wear sweat-stained clothes.
