Temple interior at the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, Adi KAILASA, during a Chandi Homa purnahuti. A standing priest with long dark hair, a red-orange cloth draped over his shoulder and a beaded mala, holds a silver ritual vessel and pours or offers something toward a decorated golden palanquin-style deity seat. The seat is garlanded with white and red flowers and green leaves, with a deity murti seated within. Behind him are tiered brass oil lamps with lit flames, a golden kalasha-like canopy, and ornate silver-clad deity figures. Smoke fills the air.
