Facing him, a smiling man in a pale yellow-striped shirt and white dhoti kneels on a woven mat, hands clasped. Behind them stand men in white shirts. To the right, a decorated altar with garlands, brass lamps and a deity murti is set up under white poles, with plates and flower offerings on blue cloths. The orange-robed figure matches the Swamiji (probable) cues of long swept-back hair, orange turban and saffron robes, shown in person.2008-11-11Outdoor evening photograph at night at a temple-style setting. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, with long dark hair, sits on a cushioned seat and reaches out to touch the shoulder of a smiling man in white shirt and white dhoti who stands with palms pressed together in greeting. Around them, other men in white shirts and white dhotis stand, and a man in a red-and-white shawl with a dark mala watches. A woman in a patterned yellow-and-brown sari is seen from behind at left, and a grey-haired person in a beige top sits in the foreground. Stage lights and an air conditioner are visible in the background. The seated figure's identity is an appearance-based candidate with saffron robes, orange turban and long hair, so the description notes him as a probable Swamiji.2010-02-17
