Outdoor scene at a large black stone Shivalinga rising from a pool of water, decorated with flower garlands and an orange-and-white banner line overhead. A seated figure on a gold-and-red throne with a golden canopy is attended by several saffron-robed men in orange clothing who tend to him. Dozens of people stand waist-deep in the water around the platform, many in white clothes, with a striped white-and-red stepped embankment behind. Flower petals and garlands float near the throne.

Many devotees in white and orange clothing wade in the water and crowd the edges, some holding flower garlands. In the foreground a gold-and-red palanquin with a white canopy and marigold garlands sits in the water, and two men in saffron-orange robes stand beside it, one in the centre-left and one beside the palanquin. A figure in white works near the lingam. Striped red-and-white steps line the tank in the background, with trees and palms beyond. This appears to be a ritual abhishekam during a festival procession.2009-01-02Outdoors at a large black stone Shivalinga rising from a shallow water tank, with orange and white striped steps behind and string flags overhead. Three saffron-robed priests stand on a red and gold ornate platform beside the lingam, one pouring liquid from a vessel while others attend to a golden kalasha-style vessel. Crowds of devotees in white stand waist-deep in the water and along the steps, some with raised hands. Garlands and flower petals decorate the platform and water. Water sprays from the lingam area. Ritual abhishekam or puja appears to be underway. The priest in the centre has long hair and a beard, wearing a saffron robe, but the appearance is not conclusive.2009-01-02Outdoor photo of a large Shivalinga-style black stone structure with water pouring over it at a tank-like pool surrounded by striped white and red walls. Many people wearing white clothes wade through the water around a decorated chariot. Seated on the chariot's raised flower-covered platform is a figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a garland, while attendants in white lean in to steady and guide the float. The chariot is wrapped in marigold garlands, white flower strings and a yellow canopy, and a red-and-white tiered structure stands behind it. The scene resembles a ratha procession during Dasara celebrations at Sripuram, Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam.2010-10-17January 02 20092009-01-02January 02 20092009-01-02Large crowd of devotees wearing white clothes stands waist-deep in a water tank around a tall black Shiva lingam with a silver-trimmed base.
