August 25 20062006-08-25Inside a white tented space, a person in orange saffron robes with long dark hair bends forward at the lower right, face turned down, near a row of black-stone deity murti. The murti are adorned with colourful flower garlands in pink, yellow, green and white, gold and jewelled crowns, ornate jewelled necklaces and gold-trimmed ornaments. A brass oil lamp and brass vessels stand at the base in front of the figures. A gold arched frame surrounds the central deities, with a vertical banner in green, yellow and navy bearing embroidered flowers and an elephant motif behind them. The scene suggests a temple-style puja or abhishekam setting.2006-08-25A photograph of a temple ritual before a golden arched frame. Brass oil lamps stand on either side. A man in a white dhoti and shawl stands at left. A woman in an orange sari and a man in a reddish-brown dhoti and shawl stand at the altar, the man bending forward with his hands at the deity, performing puja. A gold arch frames the shrine on the left, with a silver-and-gold vessel and a red-cloth-covered table at the far left.2007-11-26A photograph of a temple-style shrine set on a tiled platform in a plain room.
