Outdoor abhishekam at a large grey stone Shivalinga on a stepped riverside platform under a clear blue sky. Several men in orange and saffron dhotis stand on a metal staircase at the top of the lingam, one pouring water from a brass vessel over its crown while others attend. A garland of marigolds and red flowers wraps the lingam's base. Below, a golden throne with a red cushion holds a seated figure in pink and white garlands, which is a statue or depiction rather than a physical person. Brass pots and vessels sit on the platform, and a shirtless priest in orange cloth walks past carrying a pot. Tiered steps behind hold seated devotees and a wall with flags.2016-11-11 +1 copiesNovember 11 20162016-11-11 +1 copiesOutdoor abhishekam at a large grey stone Shivalinga on a black stone yoni-peetha base, with milky liquid streaming down its surface.
