He wears a long rudraksha mala across his chest and a red tilak on his forehead, looking downward. A low curved stone bench lines the path, with sandy mounds and a small shrine-like structure visible behind. Another person stands at the far right edge in white. The cues here are a rudraksha mala and saffron robes but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role as a sannyasi.2011-03-05September 12 20112011-09-12 +2 copiesJune 15 20092009-06-15June 15 20092009-06-15A barefoot man in a saffron-orange sleeveless wrap and dhoti walks along a woven straw mat with blue edging across a sandy outdoor courtyard. He wears a dark rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead, and his eyes are lowered. Behind him a circular stone-edged pit holds dark gravel, and a black stone Nandi bull with a marigold garland sits on a red pedestal. Dark deity sculptures stand along a terracotta wall under coconut palms, with small red placards and orange triangular pennants overhead. An ornate hanging lamp stand curls above. The man's identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2010-11-30June 15 20092009-06-15A man in orange saffron robes and a draped orange shawl stands barefoot on a striped woven mat, one arm extended outward, with a dark rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a seated woman in white with a yellow scarf sits on the sand. The setting is an open outdoor courtyard with dark stone sculptures of deities and a snake-hooded figure, white pedestals, palm trees, and scattered rubble, with a pale ash-marked ground nearby. A cushion lies on the ground beside the mat.2010-08-02 +1 copiesJune 15 20092009-06-15
