$An outdoor photograph beneath a large spreading banyan tree with aerial roots. On the right stands a dark stone murti of a seated sage in saffron cloth with a saffron head wrap, wearing a white ceremonial necklace and garlanded with orange and pink flowers, set in a carved silver-toned arch. In the foreground an elderly man in orange robes bends forward with his hand on the head of a kneeling figure in orange and gold-bordered cloth, who is seated before the murti on a red painted base strewn with yellow marigolds. A second person in orange robes stands behind them in the background.$ 2006-11-21 $A photograph taken outdoors beneath a large banyan tree at a shrine. On the right stands a large dark stone statue of a seated sage in orange cloth with a crown-like orange head wrap, rudraksha-style beaded malas and a white ceremonial necklace, garlanded with marigolds and flowers. In the foreground an older man in orange robes and an orange head wrap bends forward at a stone platform, touching a small seated figure in orange cloth and a decorated headdress, surrounded by yellow and orange flower offerings on red-painted rock. Behind them a second person in orange robes with long dark hair stands by the trunk. Three people are visible in the scene.$ 2006-11-21 $Outdoor photograph beneath a large shady tree at a sacred site. In the foreground left, a black stone sculpture of a seated sage wears an orange wrap, a garland of yellow and red flowers and an orange head cloth, with a seated orange-clad figure and yellow marigold offerings at its base on a red stone platform. Three standing people in saffron-orange robes perform a ritual: a woman with long dark hair holds a lit lamp, a man with a shaved head and orange head cloth holds a lamp or offering dish, and a bald man at right in orange clothing holds his hands together in namaskar. A small silver-grey bundle and a brass tray with flowers sit on a white cloth below. In the background, another orange-clad figure is seated near a red structure.$ 2006-11-21
