A small golden deity murti of Murugan (Subramanya) stands on a flower-decked golden peetha in a richly carved golden shrine arch. The figure wears a red garment, a crown-like headdress, a jewelled necklace and a long garland, holding a spear (vel) and a staff, with a trident-shaped element behind. Dense yellow chrysanthemum-type flowers, red roses and white jasmine garlands surround the figure, with pink petals scattered at its base. A printed caption at the bottom reads Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, Adi KAILASA and Subramanya Procession-6 pm. No physical people are visible.
