Outdoor temple procession scene at a street-side temple entrance. In the foreground, a bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair wears a red-orange cloth and a thick red flower garland, and holds his hands over a decorated brass kalasha with flowers and a coconut, while two men in purple and white dhotis with white markings on their arms and chests reach toward it. Beside them, a man in white dhoti and shirt with a green border stands among people; a musician in orange plays a long wind instrument. Crowd members in shirts watch from behind, and police officers stand in the background beneath a green canopy with a banner of text.

Photo of a temple reception where a smiling man in saffron-orange robes and multiple rudraksha malas, with a rudraksha bracelet on his arm and a dark turban, is handed a garland of red and white flowers by a bare-chested attendant on the left. Beside him a grey-haired man in white dhoti with a gold chain and hands folded in greeting watches. Behind them several men in white, red and bare-chested clothing with sacred markings stand in a stone-floored temple interior.

A street procession at a temple entrance in Tiruvannamalai. In the foreground, a bare-chested man with white vibhuti stripes on his arms and chest, wearing rudraksha malas and an orange-and-red dhoti, holds marigold and flower petals in his hands. Beside him, a man with a yellow-and-pink marigold garland and rudraksha beads sits with palms pressed together in prayer. Behind them, sannyasis in saffron and orange cloth, rudraksha malas and white forehead markings stand among devotees. A girl in orange holds a plate with an oil lamp and flower petals. Stone temple walls and a green gate frame the scene.

A man with long dark hair, a rust-brown saffron-toned wrap and heavy gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beads stands beside a white car, placing his hand on a large tray of red and white flowers. Beside him, a young man in an orange turban and orange wrap holds a green and gold decorated bundle with a flower-filled vessel on top, while a man with white sacred ash marks and a beaded mala stands behind. Several people in orange turbans are visible in the background near a covered walkway, with palm trees above. The scene suggests a padapuja or welcome ceremony, with Swamiji (probable) appearing as the man in the centre-right wearing the heavy gold necklaces and long swept-back hair.

A smiling bearded man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a deep red-maroon robe, a red and white flower garland, a dense rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, holds a tall ornate ceremonial staff topped with a golden trident-like finial and a decorated shield-shaped head, beside a parked silver SUV. Probable Swamiji by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron-maroon robe, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklace. To his left, a older man with a red tilak on his forehead, bare-chested and wearing a rudraksha mala, stands next to a man with grey hair and white vibhuti lines on his forehead and a white dhoti, who holds his hands together in a respectful gesture. At far right, a man in a purple and pink silk shawl is partly visible. Outdoor setting with green foliage behind.
