Outdoor night scene at a fire pit on bare ground in front of a brick wall. A bright open fire burns in a shallow pit, with an iron vessel or ring heated in the flames and sparks rising. A man in a white shirt and checked lungi bends to tend the fire with a long iron rod, while another man in a striped lungi holds a long pole. Several men in saffron and red-orange dhotis and shawls, some with rudraksha malas, stand watching, and a woman in a white sari with purple border and a woman in orange sari stand nearby. Two men wearing white shirts observe at the right edge. Ritual fire activity.
