A photograph of a foundation stone ceremony. A figure in an orange turban, orange robes with gold borders, a long multi-coloured flower garland and a rudraksha mala stands barefoot on a striped mat beside a grey stone slab with a black inscribed plaque. A second orange-robed attendant holds a tray of flower petals at left. Behind, several men in white shirts and dhotis raise their hands and gesture toward the stone, and a young girl in a pink top looks on. The plaque shows a framed portrait and Tamil lettering. Yellow cloth hangs from the stone's base. Visible people: about six or seven in the scene.
