August 19 20062006-08-19A photograph of an outdoor fire ritual on reddish-brown earth beside a small whitewashed structure with steps and palm trees behind. Smoke drifts across the scene. A man in white dhoti and shirt bends over a fire pit, using a long-handled metal rod to tend burning logs and embers. A second man in white, wearing a dark cord, stands beside him, and a third man in white stands further back. A standing figure in white with an orange-saffron shawl over the shoulder watches at left, with a metal bucket on the ground nearby. The page indicates a Brahmacharya training event, but no clear a person candidate is identifiable from appearance here.2006-08-18A man in a white shirt and white dhoti bends over a large outdoor fire on bare sandy ground, using a long-handled metal implement to stir or tend the burning logs and embers. Smoke rises and flames flicker among charred wood, with green trees and a pole in the background. This appears to be a homa or fire ritual being tended by a single participant.2006-08-18Outdoor photo of a fire pit on dusty ground beside palm trees and shrubs, with smoke rising. Three men in white ritual clothing stand around it: one on the left wears a red-orange shawl over white and stands near a steel bucket; a man in white dhoti and shirt bends forward using a long-handled iron rake or shovel to stir the burning wood; another man in a white shirt stands behind holding a long pole. Several circular burn marks are scattered across the ground. A white painted structure with steps is at left.2006-08-18August 19 20062006-08-19August 19 20062006-08-19July 08 20102010-07-08December 31 20082008-12-31December 30 20062006-12-30October 02 20142014-10-02Outdoors on bare reddish earth, several men in white dhotis and white shirts tend smoking fire pits. Smoke drifts across the scene and a large pile of glowing embers and ash sits in the foreground. A man in the centre bends forward with a long iron rod, raking or stoking a ring-shaped fire trench, while another man at left walks with a tool and a third stands at right. Dense green trees and a striped low fence stand behind them under a pale sky. The arrangement of circular burnt trenches suggests a homa or yagna fire ritual.2006-08-18August 19 20062006-08-19
