Night outdoor photo on a flat brick rooftop beside a low brick parapet. A figure in an orange-saffron cloth wrap, orange head cloth and a long rudraksha mala with a pendant holds a brass aarti plate with a lit flame high in both hands, smiling. Beside them a bearded man in white kneels with eyes closed and palms pressed together, with a red tilak on his forehead. Coconut halves, bananas and flower petals lie on the floor as offerings. Other people in white dhotis and kurtas stand or kneel with folded hands in the background, and a woman in an orange sari stands at right. Bamboo poles lean against the wall. This appears to be an aarti ritual at night.

In the left foreground a bare-chested man in saffron-orange cloth and an orange turban raises a ceremonial lamp or arati lamp high with one hand. Beside him stand two men in white ritual clothes, and a man in a plain white shirt at centre holds a small lamp tray. On the right, a deity murti draped in a red and gold cloth and garlanded with yellow and pink flowers sits on a decorated altar, which is loaded with bananas, oranges, flowers and brass vessels. Floral offerings and plates lie on the floor below.2003-01-01April 20 20032003-04-20A seated man in an orange robe with an orange shawl blesses a kneeling woman by placing both hands on her head. He has long swept-back dark hair, a tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha mala. Beside him a shaved-headed attendant in orange with a tilak holds a small object near the woman. Behind them stand men in white shirts and orange shawls, and a tray holds fruit, flowers, a pineapple and packets. A kneeling woman in an orange and red sari with gold necklace bows with her hands joined, while a hand holds a printed sheet at lower right. The scene suggests a blessing (darshan) setting with a white draped backdrop and a metal trident visible at right.2008-03-12September 26 20092009-09-26July 21 20102010-07-21December 24 20092009-12-24
