A figure in saffron-orange robes stands on an ornate golden chariot (ratha) during a procession, smiling with hands resting on a red and yellow flower garland. He wears layered gold and bead necklaces, a dark-red forehead mark, and shoulders draped with marigold and rose garlands. Above him a large orange canopy with red fringe is topped by a golden finial and hanging bells. Multicoloured tassels in red, green, blue, and yellow dangle from the chariot's pole, which is wrapped in yellow marigold strands, and the platform is heaped with white jasmine, yellow marigolds, and red flowers. Swamiji (probable): the saffron robes, long swept-back hair, gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beads are the qualifying cues for this figure on the chariot. A partially visible dark-haired head is in the lower left foreground.
