Outdoor Holi celebration in a open courtyard lined with coconut palms and a grey block wall. Central focus is a wooden pole with a rope and hanging clay pots and balloons being raised, a pot-breaking style game. Many participants are smeared with coloured powder in pink, yellow, orange and green, including women in saris and a person in a salwar. Behind them a large crowd in white clothing watches, and a man in white with a dark sash stands near the pole. A bald man in white dhoti and shawl stands centre-right. Pink, green and orange balloons float near the pole. Several vehicles are parked beyond the wall.
