Night outdoor ritual on a lawn in front of a multi-storey building with a lit McDonald's sign. Seated on a raised wooden throne with a red cloth, a figure in a red robe presides over the gathering, with a white parasol behind them. A priest in orange and a man in white dhoti stand near a decorated deity murti on a blue and red altar with garlands and a lit oil lamp. Another orange-robed figure sits on the grass in front of a fire pit with offerings. Many people sit in rows on the grass in white clothes, and a few sit on chairs at the right. Fairy lights decorate the wall.

Most wear white clothing with red-and-white shawls or red sashes, and several have their hands raised or folded in prayer. A lit McDonald's sign and multi-storey buildings stand in the background, with small lit Christmas-style trees near a low wall and ground lamps. Many participants sit cross-legged facing toward the front, and a few figures stand at the edge of the lawn. At left, a seated figure in orange and yellow garments with a red-draped table stands out, and nearby a figure in white with a red shawl sits on the grass before brass puja vessels and a yellow flower offering. Spectators in white kurtas and red shawls sit in rows, a man in a white tee with a printed image sits in front, and string lights decorate the background. A plain description beats an uncertain ritual name, so this is a seated gathering rather than a specified rite.2014-07-24February 22 20162016-02-22 +1 copies
