April 29 20122012-04-29A photograph of a golden murti of a deity couple seated on a white-draped pedestal, heavily decorated with red, yellow and white flower garlands and green leaf festoons. The male figure wears a green patterned dhoti, a silver-and-gold necklace and holds a bow and arrow; the female figure wears a green sari-style garment, a tall silver crown and a long flower braid, holding a lotus-like stem. A golden arched backdrop and small brass elephant ornaments surround the altar. The murti appears to be a Shiva-Parvati or Rama-Sita type deity form; the iconography is not certain enough to name it.2012-04-29May 01 20122012-05-01April 23 20122012-04-23 +1 copiesMay 01 20122012-05-01April 29 20122012-04-29A photograph of a decorated deity murti pair, a male figure and a female figure seated side by side within an ornate gilded arch framed with garlands of red roses, white jasmine-style flowers, yellow marigolds and green leaves.
