A photograph of a hillside forest of tall, slender conifers with sparse needle-tufted branches rising from a slope of dry brown undergrowth and dark rhododendron-like shrubs with glossy leaves. Ferns grow along the forest floor at lower right, and a hazy blue mountain ridge is faintly visible through the trees in the background. No people, ritual objects or structures are visible in the scene.
