Outdoor photograph under a large metal-framed canopy at a temple courtyard. A shrine with red curtains and orange festoon bunting stands at the back, its deity murti garlanded with marigolds. Priests in white dhotis and shirts attend the shrine, while women in white saris and saffron-bordered garments gather in front. Several women seated on the floor wear orange and white saris, and a child is held in the lower right. Decorated pillars with painted panels frame the scene. Devotees appear to be taking part in a vilakku puja at the shrine.
