A crowded dining hall scene in which a large group of men in white shirts and dhotis press forward, many raising white and steel plates heaped with rice and yellow food. A central figure in an orange-saffron cloth on his head smiles broadly while holding a steel plate. Behind them, steel kitchen counters and large vessels are visible through an arched window. Several dozen people are visible, with partially visible faces and hands reaching across the frame.
