November 24 20062006-11-24November 24 20062006-11-24Outdoor photograph at a roadside arrival during the Jayanti Brahmotsavama celebrations in Bidadi. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a cream turban, wearing a long garland of white and red flowers and a gold-toned necklace, stands centre-left with hands clasped, smiling. A man in white kurta bows low to touch his feet, while a man in white stands at left and a man in a dark jacket with white shirt bends forward at right. Behind them, a woman in white sari with yellow shawl holds a brass tray of yellow and orange flowers with folded hands, and another woman in grey and sunglasses stands nearby. Red and yellow banners and a chain-link fence sit in the background under bright sunlight. The saffron-robed figure matches the probable Swamiji cues of a turban, saffron clothing and garlands.2008-12-30January 12 20072007-01-12Outdoor photo of a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes wearing a white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala, standing on dirt ground with a white wall and palm trees behind. A man in a light blue shirt kneels and touches the feet of a shaved-headed man in white in the foreground. Other saffron-robed men with beaded malas stand nearby, and women in blue saris and white clothes watch on.2011-05-23December 31 20082008-12-31January 12 20072007-01-12August 02 20082008-08-02November 24 20062006-11-24An outdoor land puja on bare red earth beside dry trees and palms. A figure in an orange turban, orange robe and layered rudraksha malas stands centre, receiving a petal offering from a woman in an orange sari who holds a plate of flowers. A young sapling with leaves stands in a ring of flowers and a small arrangement of fruit, lamps and offerings lies on a striped mat at left. Around them, men and women in white dhotis, white shirts and white saris stand with palms pressed together, and one man at right wears a white dhoti and grey shirt. A man in white at far left wears a dark rudraksha-style necklace. The scene is a ceremonial ground-blessing on open land.2010-02-15January 12 20072007-01-12December 09 20112011-12-09
