A photograph of a man bending forward over a shallow round metal tray set on bare reddish earth in front of a grey concrete block wall. He wears a pink checked shirt, a light green knee-length lunghi-style garment, and a white cloth band tied around his head. His hands are near the tray as if pouring or arranging something on the ground. The scene is lit by low, warm light and appears to be an outdoor construction or ground-level work area.

Warm artificial light falls across the uneven earth, and tall brick walls, some unfinished, surround the site. A pink cloth hangs from the right wall.
