He holds a clay vessel with a flame rising from it, an offering. Behind and to the right, a second figure in an orange cloth and draped white garment tends the flame. Carved wooden pillars and a plain wall form the background. Swamiji (probable): the central figure wears a crown-like turban, ornate gold jewellery and a garland, cues consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji; this is an appearance-based label only.2017-12-02A man in a red-orange turban and matching draped cloth performs an evening ritual beside a fire. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace, rudraksha-style beads on the upper arm, gold earrings and a red tilak on his forehead, while holding a small brass oil lamp with a lit wick in one hand and a metal vessel in the other. Bright flames rise from a brass bowl in the foreground, consistent with a homa or puja fire, and a partly visible figure in orange sits at the left edge against a dark background. The man appears to be a priest performing the rite rather than a depicted or distinctively identified figure.2014-01-05December 02 20172017-12-02A man in a maroon and gold turban adorned with a crescent-moon ornament and brooch stands in profile, wearing a long multicolour flower garland and gold bangles and armlets.
