Heavy gold and gem-studded necklaces cover the chest, and a red flower garland drapes over the shoulders. A golden hand holding a sceptre-like attribute is visible at the left edge. Behind the figure are flower decorations in yellow marigold, red and purple blooms. No people are visible; the image shows only the deity murti and floral setting.2010-10-16October 02 20082008-10-02A close photograph of a gilded metal deity murti wearing a tall golden crown and ornate jewelled necklaces with pearls and coloured stones, a red-orange silk garment, and a dark pot-like face. It holds a silver trident in one hand while the other hand is raised in a blessing gesture. The figure is surrounded by garlands of orange marigolds, red, green and white wool-like flowers, and brass ritual objects including a conch-shaped ornament. The background is blurred and dark red. The image is a photo of a statue, not a living person.2010-11-09
