A photograph of a smiling man in a saffron-orange shawl wrapped over one shoulder and draped across his bare upper body, standing in profile at what looks like a ritual setting. He has swept-back dark hair, a yellow turmeric or sacred powder marking on his forehead with a red dot at the centre, and yellow powder smeared on his arms. He is handling yellow powder or petals with both hands. Behind him is a deep red-orange curtain, and at the lower right a brass oil lamp or ritual vessel is partly visible. A second person in orange clothing stands partly visible at the left edge.
