Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and a thick trunk. Three people stand on a raised stone ledge at the base. The figure on the left wears a plain orange robe and bare feet and points upward into the branches. A middle figure in white with an orange shawl points as well, and a third person in white and orange stands beside them. Their gestures suggest pointing out something in the canopy. No clear identification can be made from appearance, so the figures are described by role and clothing only.

In the foreground, a man in an orange shawl over white clothes stands facing the trunk, with a second figure in orange and white beside him at the trunk and two more people in white clothes with orange wraps further back on the left. Dim evening light filters through the foliage.2006-10-07A photograph of a massive old banyan tree with many thick aerial roots hanging from its wide spreading branches, standing on sandy ground. A man in a long orange robe with an orange shawl stands smiling at the trunk on the right, with long dark hair and a slight build, and appears to be an in_person candidate only by an orange robe and long hair, which is not distinctive enough to confirm identity; he is described as a sannyasi. Two other men in white dhotis with orange shawls stand at the left edge, partly cropped. A purple and white logo appears in the upper left corner.2006-10-07A photograph beneath a large, sprawling banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots and dense canopy, on a sandy red-earth clearing with rocks. In the foreground a man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands facing right. Beside him, a bare-chested man in orange dhoti and orange shawl stands on a rock with his back to the camera, long dark hair falling down. Behind them an older man in white clothes stands near the trunk. A few other people in white and orange are partly visible at the left edge. The faces of the people are not shown in detail. No identity is confirmed from appearance; the bare-chested figure with long hair and orange garments is a candidate only, with uncertain appearance.2006-10-07Outdoor photo beneath a massive banyan tree with many aerial roots and spreading branches. On the left, a figure in a long saffron-orange robe with long dark hair stands on a raised rocky ledge, one arm extended upward toward the branches. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti-style garment and an orange shawl stands at the base of the tree trunk. Dense green foliage fills the upper frame and a small white structure is visible at the lower left.2006-10-07October 07 20062006-10-07October 07 20062006-10-07October 07 20062006-10-07October 06 20062006-10-06A photograph of a large, sprawling banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots and thick spreading branches over bare sandy ground. In the foreground a young person with long dark hair and a red bindi stands in an orange saffron robe with a white crutch under one arm. To the right edge, an older man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands partly cut off. The person in the orange robe has long swept hair, a bindi and saffron clothing, but the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so the candidate is marked unsure.2006-10-07
