A photograph inside a gilded temple sanctum beside a golden deity murti with raised arms and a decorated crown. On the left, a figure in an orange saffron wrap with long dark hair and a tilak stands near a gold pillar carved with a dancing figure. In the centre, a man with short dark hair wears a white-and-blue checked shirt over a white dhoti and bends forward toward the murti. A third person in a maroon garment stands to the right beside the golden figures, and another in white is partly visible at the far right edge.

On the left, a figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a full beard wears a saffron-orange shawl and smiles broadly, standing beside a gold-coloured pillar. In the centre, a man with short dark hair in a white checked shirt and white dhoti stands with his back to the camera, facing the gilded deity murti on the right. The murti has a tall crowned headdress, a red garment and gold ornaments on the arms, with a gold kalasha-like finial behind it. The statue and the saffron-clad figure are beside each other near a dark doorway.2006-09-23Photograph of a devotional scene with a man in saffron-orange robes bent forward over a gold-coloured metal stand, adjusting or touching two gilded deity figures, one standing with raised hand. To the left a man in white dhoti with gold border and bangles leans in beside him. Behind, several devotees in casual clothes, including a man in a striped shirt, watch. In the background a large backdrop shows a smiling face in a saffron turban, and a woman in an orange garment sits near a gold throne decorated with garlands in red and white. A gold kalasha-like lamp appears at upper right. Visible ritual setting suggests pad-puja or abhishekam preparation; the seated figure's identity is not established.2012-01-08Inside a gilded wooden shrine structure, a smiling man in a white and blue checked shirt reaches up to adjust a red cloth draped over a large gold-coloured deity murti wearing a tall crown and red garment with gold armlets. A person in an orange saffron robe stands at left beside a gold-framed doorway, with a dark interior behind. The scene suggests temple dressing of the image.2006-09-23A photograph taken inside a temple at night beside a large gilded wooden processional structure. On the left, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe stands beside a gold-coloured carved pillar; he has long, swept-back hair and orange clothing, but the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so this is a devotee or sannyasi-type figure. Beside him a younger man in a white shirt and white dhoti wears an orange shawl. In the centre a man in a white checked shirt bends forward to adjust a gilded deity murti dressed in red garments, with gold jewellery and a crown. A gold-leafed carved pillar and ceiling frame the scene, with a bright light fixture above.2006-09-23A photograph of a gilded deity murti in the foreground, its ornate golden surface and crown in sharp focus. Behind it, a bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair and a white forehead mark wears an orange-saffron shawl and smiles while his hand rests on the golden figure. Beside him, a smiling man in glasses and a white shirt with a red tilak stands close, and another man in a checked shirt is at the left edge. Ornate gilded wooden canopy framing and a dark background suggest a temple shrine setting. The golden figure may be processional or alankaram work.2006-09-23Night photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron shawl with a white tilak and red bindi, reaching toward a large polished gold deity murti at right. A man in a white shirt with glasses stands behind him, and a partly visible man in a striped shirt is at the left edge. The gold murti's face and crown fill the right foreground against a dark background. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair and orange saffron shawl, applied to the man in the saffron shawl who is adorning or attending the deity.2006-09-23September 23 20062006-09-23A photograph of a long-haired man in a flowing saffron-orange robe standing indoors beside a gold-coloured statue of a standing figure wearing an orange robe, a rudraksha mala, and a tall gold crown-like headdress. Behind them is a draped purple-maroon curtain, a gold ceremonial umbrella (chhatra), a gold throne-like seat with a red cushion, brass ritual items, a brass oil lamp, and a floral offering at the statue's base. Colourful woven-patterned hangings hang along the upper wall. The living man appears to be an in-person devotee or sannyasi rather than a confirmed identity; the statue is a depiction.2006-08-22A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron garment over his shoulders and a forehead marking, stands beside a large gilded deity murti in the foreground. A gilded ceremonial vessel and a red cloth are visible near the murti, and two other men in white shirts stand nearby in a dark setting. The man in orange has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, matching Swamiji (probable), and appears in person beside the golden murti.2006-09-23
