A photograph of two men in close, warm contact indoors. On the left, an older man with swept-back grey hair, wearing a white shirt, a red-and-orange shawl and a red lanyard, holds his hand to the forehead of a man on the right. The man on the right has long dark hair, a beard, a vibhuti mark on his forehead, eyes closed and a smile, and wears an ochre-orange cloth with a thick brown rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders. Behind them is a golden drape and a printed portrait of a smiling man in a red turban. Their hands and bodies create a blessing gesture.

A bare-chested man with long dark hair, a dark beard, gold ceremonial necklaces and a rudraksha mala, wearing a saffron-orange wrap, presses his palms to the forehead of an older man with silver-grey hair who wears a white kurta and an orange-red shawl. Behind them a younger man in white with a red tilak mark stands near a gold-draped backdrop. Probable Swamiji (probable) is the central figure giving the blessing to the devotee in white, with long swept-back hair, gold garlands and saffron-orange clothing as visible cues.2016-07-17July 07 20162016-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 07 20162016-07-07A photograph of a ceremonial blessing. The older man wears a white kurta with an orange-red sash and bows his head. Behind them a younger man in white with a rudraksha mala watches, and gold and maroon drapery frames the scene. The older man in white is a devotee receiving blessing.2016-07-17A photograph of two men in close, intimate ritual contact beside a brass pole with hanging bells. The seated man on the right has long dark dreadlocked hair, a yellow turmeric mark across his forehead, and a saffron-orange shawl over a leopard-print cloth; he wears a long rudraksha mala with a gold necklace and smiles while his hand rests on the other man's head. Shimmering rudraksha beads and a yellow-painted forearm are visible. The man on the left has swept-back grey hair, wears a white kurta with a red lanyard and an orange-red sash, and holds his palm raised toward the seated man's brow, receiving a blessing. Warm golden light fills the background, with a brass fixture and a metal grille behind them. Probable Swamiji is the seated man, identified by long hair, saffron shawl, rudraksha mala and gold necklace.2016-07-04A photograph of two men in close, warm contact. On the left, an older man with grey hair and a moustache, wearing a white shirt, bends his head forward while the other man places his right hand on his forehead and rests his left hand on his neck. The man giving the blessing wears a rust-orange sleeveless cloth over a bare chest, with a brown rudraksha-style mala at his neck, long dark hair, a beaded red-and-black wrist band, and a white tilak on his forehead, and he smiles. Behind them are gold-coloured ritual objects, a brass kalasha-like vessel and a red cushioned seat. A Swamiji (probable) candidate is present, with the cues of long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and saffron-orange cloth; the appearance is consistent with the page but not conclusive for identification.2016-07-07A photograph of a ceremonial blessing. On the right, a bearded man with long dark hair, a dark rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold necklace, and a rust-orange shawl over the shoulder places his right palm on the forehead of an older bald man. The setting behind them is a dark wooden interior with a golden embroidered hanging on the right and red fabric in the background.2016-07-13A photograph of two men facing each other with palms raised and nearly touching, a blessing or energy-transmission gesture. On the right, a man with long swept-back dark hair, a gold necklace of large beads over a rudraksha-style mala, and a rust-orange shawl sits on a golden throne before red drapery. On the left, a grey-haired man in a white kurta wears an orange shawl printed with script. The recipient holds his hands in anjali mudra and wears a rudraksha bracelet. Behind them are beige padded panels, a gold-coloured fabric and a red cloth at the left edge. The seated figure has distinctive long hair, ornate clothing and ceremonial beads, so Swamiji (probable) is the appearance-based label for this in-person blessing moment.2013-12-03March 07 20142014-03-07A photograph of a seated man with long dark hair, a small red tilak on his forehead, a gold chain and a rust-red saffron wrap, sitting on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion. He smiles while a shirtless young man in a white dhoti-style cloth with yellow borders stands in front of him, one hand raised to the seated man's forehead and the other touching his cheek, in what appears to be a blessing. Red curtains hang behind them and a gold pole stands at the left edge. The seated man has distinctive long hair, saffron-toned robes and a gold necklace, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji (probable) receiving devotees at a darshan. The shirtless devotee is a person in white ritual cloth.2017-07-14 +1 copies
