A large hall filled with seated devotees in white ritual clothing, sitting on orange and purple mats across a white tiled floor. Many men wear white dhotis and shawls; several sit before small brass plates, lamps and bowls set on cloth mats. Overhead, white fabric drapes the ceiling and colourful striped cylindrical hangings with orange tassels hang in rows. Ceiling fans, white walls and red curtains frame the space, and a camera on a tripod stands at the left. The congregation faces forward toward the far end, where a decorated altar with flowers and offerings is visible. A small number of people appear in the foreground, some wearing gold necklaces.
