Night procession at a festival: a richly decorated palanquin or chariot carrying a deity murti, adorned with multicolored garlands and fringed decorations, is surrounded by a crowd. Many devotees are smeared with coloured powder, in a cloud of powder and smoke, and several raise their hands. Ornate yellow and red umbrellas are held overhead, and a brass ceremonial staff with a trident-like top is in the foreground. Blue and multicolored string lights glow in the background. A man in white kurta stands near the chariot. The scene reads as a Holi-style colour procession with a deity on a ratha.
