In the foreground, a woman in a red shawl sits on the left beside a woman in pink and white with a red bag, and a woman in a patterned shawl faces a man in a pink shirt on the right. Behind them, a man in a white kurta sits cross-legged while a bald man in a saffron shawl with a beaded necklace sits nearby, a person candidate. Others in white and red garments sit further back, a green canopy with a golden throne-like seat is at the top, and a standing man in a blue-striped shirt is visible in the centre. Some people hold pamphlets. Many men wear saffron-orange robes and orange turbans, while others wear white dhotis and white kurtas with red-and-white rudraksha or scarf garlands. In the lower right, a bald sadhu in orange robes sits beside a woman in white; a small green-covered book lies on a red cloth at left. Warm light and dense rows of participants suggest a satsang gathering. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so no one is labelled as probable.2015-09-11 +1 copiesA large hall filled with seated devotees sitting cross-legged on a colourful striped woven rug in pink, green, blue and red. Most wear white kurta-style clothing with orange-saffron shawls or sashes draped over their shoulders, and many have books, small brass-coloured boxes or pouches on the mat in front of them. Several people sit in the foreground holding papers. A screen on the left shows a speaker, and maroon curtains and framed pictures line the walls. Two tripod-mounted cameras stand near the stage area. Overall, the scene resembles a satsang or group study session at an ashram.2017-03-03September 18 20152015-09-18A group of about a dozen people sit cross-legged on colourful striped woven mats at a camp, with a green tarpaulin beneath.
