Night procession scene on a dirt ground with a crowd of devotees dancing and gesturing with raised hands. In the centre, a man in a white short-sleeved shirt and tan trousers moves with his hands raised, near a man in a white dhoti with a green-and-gold border and bare upper body. On the right, several men in saffron-orange robes and bare-chested sannyasi attire, some with orange shawls and beaded necklaces, join the dance, one holding a red flag. Behind them, a drummer with a large drum and saffron flags on poles, and figures in white clothes. A procession or rathotsavam celebration in the dark. The page excerpt references a Rathotsavam, which this image shows only indirectly through the flags and dancing.
