A shaved-headed, bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a gold border stands at left with palms pressed together in prayer, eyes closed, a white tilak on his forehead and a beaded necklace on his chest. He faces an ornate golden throne-style shrine with a red velvet backdrop and a central deity murti of Venkateswara-style form, dressed with green leaf garlands and white and yellow flower garlands, flanked by two consort murtis in garlands and bright sari-like dress. Red rose petals are scattered on the floor, a brass oil lamp stands at right, and a brass plate with small lit lamps and foil-wrapped food packets sits on a blue sparkling cloth in front. Other deity shrines with decorated pillars and a black-faced goddess in red are visible behind.2022-05-03A shaved-headed priest, bare-chested with a white dhoti and sacred thread, pours water from a silver vessel onto a deity murti during abhishekam at a gilded temple shrine.
