A photo of a darshan blessing at a large crowded hall. In the foreground a man in a pale blue turban and white kurta, with a long dark braid and an orange-red flower garland, presses his palm to the forehead of a young boy in a checked cream shirt with a name badge. The boy stands with eyes closed and one hand raised. Behind them a dense crowd of devotees in white and bright clothes fills red-carpeted space, with a standing fan at left. The blessing man's appearance is not clearly identifiable, so no identity is asserted.

The man's appearance (long hair, turban, white attire) is a person match with several cues, so this is presented as an appearance-based candidate.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09A photograph of a large crowd gathering at an indoor hall, with a robed figure in the foreground placing a hand on the forehead of a young man in a white shirt with a name badge. The robed figure wears a turquoise head wrap, white garment with turquoise embroidery, a red-and-orange shawl, and long dark hair, with a beaded mala visible at the neck. Behind them, young men in white shirts raise their hands, and many seated and standing delegates fill the hall with a fan visible at left. The appearance matches a probable Swamiji (probable) in the central blessing role, given the turquoise turban, long hair, and orange shawl, and the page describes darshan for delegates at a convention.2008-02-09A photograph taken in a crowded indoor hall at night, with many people seated on the floor and white pillars and orange-and-yellow hanging banners overhead. In the foreground, a bearded man wearing a turquoise head wrap and white embroidered kurta is leaning forward and pressing his palm to the forehead of a young man in a light blue checked shirt, who has his other hand raised. Another hand is raised behind him, and several volunteers in white shirts with ID badges stand near. Hanging orange and yellow banners and ceiling lights are visible above the crowd, and a red carpeted aisle runs through the hall. The appearance of the bearded man in the head wrap and white attire is consistent with the page's description of the speaker, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role.2008-02-09
