Outdoor photo in a high mountain valley with brown rocky cliffs, a shallow river, grassy ground and a snowy peak under blue sky with white clouds. On the left, a figure in orange robes and an orange knit cap sits on a striped tiger-print mat, wearing a rudraksha mala and holding a small orange object. Facing them on a red patterned rug are about a dozen seated devotees in orange and red shawls, sun hats and colourful headwear, some holding cups or phones. A small framed device sits on the rug in the foreground.

August 08 20122012-08-08Outdoors in a rocky mountain valley beside a shallow glacial stream, a seated teacher in orange robes and an orange turban, with white socks, gestures while speaking to a group of about 25 seated pilgrims on a patterned carpet. A red umbrella shades the teacher, and a trident-topped staff stands behind. Many seated participants wear orange or red headscarves, shawls and caps, with some in white hats and sunglasses. Two standing organisers in orange scarves and dark jackets stand at right. Bare rock cliffs and scree rise behind, with a utility pole line. Whether the orange-robed teacher is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the identity is unsure.2012-08-08A figure in orange robes, an orange knit cap and dark sunglasses sits cross-legged on a leopard-print cushion at left, speaking beside a silver microphone stand. Before him on a red patterned carpet, a group of about fifteen seated devotees in orange and red shawls and cloths listens on green grass. Behind them rises a steep layered tan rock face under a blue sky with white clouds, and a snow-capped peak appears above the cliff. A small framed placard lies on the carpet.2012-08-08A large outdoor gathering of devotees sits on grass and rocks in a high mountain valley, with a snow-capped peak rising in the background. Many seated people wear orange shawls and wraps over blue, white and striped clothing. In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe and orange headwear stands with arms raised, addressing the group; the speaker's appearance is not clearly identifiable, so this is a teaching or address by a robed figure before the seated devotees. Parked white and grey vehicles, tents and a man in a dark jacket holding a white container stand near the valley floor, and a stream runs through the green meadow. Scene resembles a Kailash pilgrimage satsang on the trail.2011-08-06A group of pilgrims sits on a riverbank beneath a tall brown rock face, with a snow-capped peak rising behind. The scene resembles a yatra gathering or satsang on the Kailash route.2012-08-08 +1 copiesAugust 06 20112011-08-06August 06 20112011-08-06A large group of pilgrims sits on grass and rocky ground in a high mountain valley, facing a snow-capped peak under a partly cloudy blue sky.
