A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe walks along a red-carpeted path under a corrugated metal roof with steel trusses. He has long, swept-back dark hair, a tilak on his forehead, and rudraksha malas hanging across his chest. Two men follow behind him in white dhotis and white shirts with orange-red shawls draped over their shoulders; the nearer one carries an orange-tipped staff. To the left, a deity murti stands in an ornate golden shrine with red curtains and a garlanded altar. Steel railings line the walkway.2010-07-02October 24 20102010-10-24September 02 20112011-09-02September 20 20112011-09-20October 12 20112011-10-12A temple hall with a corrugated roof and a shrine behind a red-and-white railing, where a deity murti with a red-and-gold backdrop and garlands is visible. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange saffron garment, a rudraksha mala and a visible throne-style seat behind him, greeting a devotee in white dhoti who has palms pressed together. Beside him, a shaved-headed attendant in orange robes and a rudraksha mala holds a silver tray. Devotees in white and yellow garments stand along the railing with hands joined in namaskar. Oil lamps and offerings are placed on the floor. The scene reflects a darshan or pada puja at a temple. Swamiji (probable) is the long-haired figure in orange with the rudraksha mala, identified by the orange robe, long swept hair and mala cues, while the attendant and devotees are priests and devotees.2010-11-02October 07 20112011-10-07October 12 20112011-10-12July 07 20102010-07-07 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20112011-09-11A photograph inside a temple hall showing monastics in saffron and orange robes walking single-file along a red carpet lined with steel railings. The leading man, in front, wears an orange dhoti and shawl, a long garland of yellow flowers, a white sacred thread, a forehead tilak and bangles on his arms, with a head covering of long hair swept back. Behind him, a younger monk in orange with a rudraksha mala and white forehead band follows, and an older bald monk in orange with a white forehead band and beaded mala walks at right. Women in maroon saris stand near the windows at right. At the back, a deity murti in a golden shrine is adorned with garlands and draped in red and yellow cloth, with an attendant in orange nearby. Red curtains hang at left and a ceiling fan and tiled walls frame the scene.2013-05-26November 11 20112011-11-11
