Outdoor temple procession scene in a dusty courtyard beside white temple structures with colourful sculpted gopuram. A golden ratha with a canopy carries two deity murti seated on a throne, one dressed in white with a crown and one in red and green with garlands. Two men in white dhoti and shirts kneel or stand near the ratha; a man in white shirt and green lungi stands to the right with hands on hips, and a man in white dhoti with rudraksha-like neck beads is at the front right. A woman in white sari with an orange shawl stands at left among white-clad devotees. In front, a blue tarpaulin holds brass plates of bananas, flowers, fruit, betel leaves, brass vessels, a brick fire pit with straw bundles and a heap of cakes, plus brass lamps. Several framed portraits are attached to the ratha and nearby posts.

On blue and striped mats, offerings are arranged: rows of banana-leaf wrapped packets, bananas, coconuts, flower garlands, steel tiffin containers, plates of fruit and sweets, and a brick-lined fire pit with kindling. Brass lamps stand near the vehicle. A man in white dhoti and a woman in a white sari with orange shawl stand nearby, and two more men in white dhoti stand at the right edge. A printed portrait on the vehicle shows a figure with a white turban, and the vehicle bears a plate reading TN-30 E-6075. The setting appears to be a homa or yagna preparation with fire pit and offerings.2006-10-25Outdoor ritual at a temple courtyard with palm trees. A golden ratha-style palanquin with a gilded canopy and stepped platform holds two deity murtis draped with garlands, one wearing a tall crown and the other a red and gold sari-style garment. Framed portraits are mounted on the cart and on poles; one shows a figure in white head cloth and dark clothes. In the foreground, devotees in white with orange shawls perform a puja beside a kalasha, brass lamps and a flower-garlanded arrangement on a green mat. Seated onlookers, many in white and pastel saris, watch from the right. A white temple building with striped red-and-white walls and a tiled roof stands behind. Two figures in the cart's immediate vicinity are not clearly identifiable and no in-person candidate is confidently visible among the ritual participants.2006-10-25October 25 20062006-10-25Outdoor photo of a ritual at a temple-style courtyard, with a golden ratha-like chariot and a raised platform behind. Two young men in white dhotis with orange shawls sit on the ground at left, one holding a metal vessel and the other seated beside it, with incense smoke rising. In front of them are a small deity murti or image garlanded with flower strands, brass oil lamps, fruit, bananas, and a brick-and-white sand-lined fire pit area. Seated at right are several people in white clothes watching: a man in white shirt and glasses, an older man, and women in saris. Three posters of a bearded-white-turbaned figure, labelled in Tamil, are displayed on the chariot and a stand; the portrait figures are depictions, not physical people. A Tamil-labelled poster reads as a portrait caption. Visible physical people number roughly a dozen.2006-10-25Outdoor temple courtyard scene at a ratha procession shrine: a golden, canopied palanquin-style structure holds two garlanded deity murtis, a male and female pair with flower garlands and decorated cloth.
