Outdoor photo of a crowded ritual bathing scene with water splashing up from a shallow tank. Many women in saffron and orange sarees, with rudraksha and beaded garlands, are immersed or reaching into the water, some with hands raised in prayer. Uniformed police officers in khaki and a man in a white safety vest stand at the edge, and several photographers with cameras crowd the frame. Orange and red ceremonial umbrellas with fringed borders stand above the group, and a pink temple-like building with a dome rises behind them under a clear blue sky. A bald man in orange clothing is partly visible at right, reaching into the water.
