A wide outdoor practice ground with a pale paved surface, scattered mats and several upright wooden poles used for mallakhamba pole yoga. Many participants in saffron and orange robes and in casual shorts and t-shirts stand or move around the poles. A man in a grey shirt and light blue shorts stands near the foreground pole, looking toward the camera, while a shirtless man in red shorts stands nearby. Behind a red boundary wall, a covered stage structure with a yellow flag and a water tower appear among green trees under a cloudy sky.

Many participants stand among tall vertical wooden poles; many wear saffron/orange clothing and orange shorts, while others wear black, red, blue and white. Behind the poles, a red brick building and a green truck appear among palm trees and a stone wall. Crowds are dense with many people visible, but the image shows far more than a hundred people only if counted precisely, so the group is best described as a large gathering.2017-10-03 +1 copiesOctober 03 20172017-10-03Outdoor photograph of a large paved courtyard at an ashram where many participants practise Shivasthamba Yoga (mallakhamba) around tall wooden poles planted in the stone floor.
