A homa fire burns in a brick fire pit decorated with yellow, purple and white flower petals, with fruit offerings and marigold garlands at its base. Two shirtless priests in saffron-yellow shawls and white dhotis sit on either side: the left one wears a long beaded necklace, the right one has sacred ash marks on his forehead and arms. A copper vessel sits at left. A man in a white dhoti and shawl stands in the wooden doorway behind the fire. The red temple wall and carved wooden doors frame the scene.2016-03-05 +1 copiesA homa fire burns in a fire pit with a flame rising above layered offerings, its base decorated with coloured powder and flower petals. A young priest with a pink and white turban and layered beaded garland sits cross-legged at left, eyes lowered. Behind the fire, a standing figure in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala holds a bowl and offering, and a woman in an orange-red sari with a flower garland stands at right beside a red temple pillar.
