Behind it, a seated person in purple clothing and a microphone stand, and a draped crimson satin cloth with a purple-and-gold brocade bolster. The statue is a depiction, not a living person; the page attributes the event to a person but the statue's features do not establish an identity.2018-04-14A gilded bronze statue of a flute-playing deity stands on a tiered octagonal base against a rust-orange velvet backdrop. The murti is wrapped in white cloth at its base and the person's hands rest on its arms and torso. Behind them hang dark purple curtains, and a partly visible gold ornamental finial rises at the top left. A second partly visible person in white clothing appears at the right edge. The setting suggests a ritual presentation during a training convention. Swamiji (probable): the saffron shawl and long swept-back hair are cues, and the person is presenting the murti at the microphone, so the appearance-based label is applied as in_person.2006-08-20A photograph of a man in an orange-saffron garment and a large mop of dark, swept-back hair leaning toward a microphone on a stand while holding a gilded metal deity murti with four arms and a tall crown. He wears a small white tilak on his forehead and cradles the murti with both hands over a white cloth. A dark curtain forms the backdrop. The appearance matches the a person cues of long hair and orange clothing, but the face is only partly visible, so the identification is probable rather than certain. Another person's white-clad arm appears at the right edge.2006-08-20
