Photograph of a puja at a shrine niche with a white carved arch, warm lighting and a gold-framed deity murti draped in pink and white garlands. A bare-chested elderly man in grey-and-maroon lungi leans forward, hands raised in namaskar near the shrine. Beside him a seated man with shaved head, white tilak, rudraksha mala and saffron dhoti pours from a silver vessel onto a plate, with an oil lamp and brass vessels on a gold-bordered cloth. Garlands and flowers fill the altar.

Inside, a seated priest in orange-bordered saffron dhoti, bare-chested with white tripundra markings on his forehead and arms and a rudraksha mala, bends forward over a silver tray holding a small vessel. A standing man in a grey-lavender dhoti with a purple border bends toward him, hands joined over the tray. Gold-bordered cloth covers the platform, with brass lamps and a silver pot beside them. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam at a shrine. The seated priest's appearance is not clearly identifiable, so no identification is made.2012-06-05Interior shrine scene with a seated bare-chested priest in orange-saffron dhoti and a white and red-tilaked head band, holding a silver vessel over a silver tray with an offering, beside a standing bare-chested attendant in a lavender-and-maroon-bordered dhoti.
